Policies
Reservations:
All reservations must be guaranteed with a credit card. Rock Creek
Cabins accepts Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express.
No reservations will be held if rental charges to a credit card
are declined. Total rental charges are due at, or prior to check-in.
Cancellations: Rock Creek Cabins
cancellation policy is as follows:
a) Cancellations
made thirty (30) days prior to arrival: Rock Creek Cabins will refund
guests deposit, minus a $40.00 processing fee.
b)
Cancellations between thirty (30) and fourteen (14) days
of scheduled arrival: guests will receive 50% of the deposit, minus
a $40.00 processing fee.
c)
Cancellations made less than fourteen (14) days prior to scheduled
arrival: guests will be charged the full rental amount.
d) In the event of a documented emergency, (15 days or more before arrival date ) Rock Creek Cabins will allow the guest a one-time opportunity to reschedule the reservation for the same cabin for a stay within one (1) year of the original arrival date. For rescheduling, guests will be charged a $45.00 non-refundable processing fee for one and two bedroom cabins, or a $75.00 non-refundable processing fee for three bedroom or larger cabins. Cancellation policy items "a," "b," and "c," above will apply to the rescheduled reservation. Item "c" of the above cancellation policy applies if a client does not reschedule a reservation 15 days before the arrival date.
Telephone Cancellations
are not accepted.
All requests to cancel must be mailed or emailed, and Rock Creek Cabins
will confirm the cancellation in writing.
Handicap Accessible:
We apologize but at this time we have no
handicap accessible cabins. Most cabins require some climbing of steps
or stairs. Therefore we do not recommend renting a cabin if you are
wheelchair bound or physically unable to climb steps or stairs. We
offer no refunds if you choose to disregard this information.
Payment: DUE ON, OR PRIOR TO,
ARRIVAL unless advance arrangements have been made. Rental fees will
be billed to the same credit card used to reserve the cabin. With
management approval, a change in credit card can be made no later
than 24 hours prior to arrival date and such changes are subject to
the processing fee established by the credit card company.
Inclement Weather Policy: While
the winter months provide many opportunities for unique and unforgettable
experiences at Rock Creek Cabins, the weather in the mountains is
unpredictable from late November into December, January, February,
March and sometimes into mid-April.
During those months chains
and/or 4-Wheel drive vehicles may be required to access the cabins.
Packing for stays at Rock Creek Cabins during those months, should
include the following items: flashlights, drinking water, non-perishable
foods, warm clothes (in the event of a power outage) and a cooler
for storing food. Rock Creek cabins are equipped with grills that
can be used under any weather conditions. Please, come prepared for
inclement weather and poor road conditions. NO refunds are given for early
departures.
In order to protect the
safety of Rock Creek Cabins clients, efforts will be made to contact
guests as early as possible if weather conditions become severe. If
the cabins are not accessible safely, we will attempt to locate suitable
accommodations for our guest or we will refund the deposits if unable
to do so. Rock Creek Cabins reserves the right to cancel reservations
to protect the safety of our guests under severe weather conditions.
Pets:
Pets are welcomed at Rock Creek Cabins. Dogs must be leashed
at all times when outside. Pets are to be crated or sequestered in
one room of the cabin if left unattended. Please bring pet's bedding
and/or crate because Rock Creek Cabins does not allow pets on furniture
or beds. No more than three (3) pets per cabin are allowed.
Sorry, no exceptions.
A $100 deposit
(cash or check only) per pet is required. Guests will be refunded
this deposit minus a $45 cleaning fee for the 1st pet. Additional
pets are $15 each. If pet hair is found on furniture or beds guests
will be charged an additional $50 cleaning fee. Additionally, guests
must pay any damage pets have caused to the cabins or surrounding
areas.
Equipment Repairs /
Mechanical Failures:
Rock Creek Cabins makes every effort to maintain all equipment at
the cabins, including but not limited to hot tubs, TV's, fireplaces,
air conditioning, heating systems, etc. In the event of equipment
failure, Rock Creek Cabins will make every effort to repair the equipment
in a timely manner, NO refunds or credits will be issued.
House Parties:
Due to strict liabilities, parties of any nature are not permitted
at cabins or the surrounding property. In the event of a party all
participants involved will be removed from the property and no refunds
will be granted for rental fees or deposits. There are no exceptions
to this policy. Rock Creek Cabins does not rent to fraternities, sororities,
or other large non-family groups. Upon check-in, Rock Creek Cabins
reserves the right to refuse service to clients unwilling to adhere
to this policy.
When staying in a cabin, please be mindful of others. Keep noise to
a minimum between the hours of 11:00 PM and 9:00 AM.
Rock Creek Cabins are smoke free, therefore, smoking is not permitted
inside the cabins.

Creek Cabins has a 30 day cancellation policy as noted above.
